Helly Hansen Lifaloft Insulated Jacket utilises the new Lifaloft insulation; a combination of LIFA technology and Primaloft insulation that retains more heat whilst remaining lightweight. The LIFA yarn technology is 20% lighter than polyester fibres offering lightweight and comfortable insulation without the bulk or weight creating maximum agility for even the most intense activities. Lifaloft is an insulation revolution that will keep you warmer with less weight and bulk due to the unique LIFA yarn technology. Developed in cooperation with PrimaLoft, Lifaloft is a combination of LIFA and PrimaLoft providing great insulation. Lifaloft insulation is based on a yarn technology that traps more air vs polyester at a lighter weight. The fibre doesn't absorb water and has inherited water repellency due to the hydrophobic properties of the LIFA fibres which make this insulation technology ideal for year-round adventures in any condition and keeps you warm even when wet. The production of this jacket has used less carbon and water footprint vs comparable polyester for a lower environmental impact. The windproof fabric and (DWR) Durable Water Repellency Treatment create long-term water-resistant and breathable performance offering protection against all weather conditions. A unique quilted, fitted design is perfect for layering or as a stand-alone jacket; a design that is flexible for all outdoor needs. The YKK CF zipper and dual YKK zipped handwarmer pockets offer secure and accessible storage for outdoor essentials whilst the full inner zipper placket offers both protection against the elements and adjustable ventilation.
