The sixth edition of a HOKA legacy shoe, the Stinson 6 continues to deliver versatile comfort both on the road and off the grid. Offering the same cushy underfoot experience with the highest volume stack height in the entire HOKA line-up.

Engineered Mesh Upper

The upper unit of the Stinson ATR 6 gives maximum breathability through its air mesh upper. The lightweight air mesh material allows optimal airflow, keeping the feet cool and dry. The refined toe box will give your feet more room to expand on longer runs, which will improve comfort and reduce fatigue. Covering the toes, there is a TPU reinforced cap which will improve the durability as well as provide protection from heavy shocks and impacts. A moulded sockliner further enhances the comfort of the upper as well as guarding against irritation such as chafing which can cause distractions to your run. Anatomical support wings along the eye row allow for a secure lockdown over the foot.

CMEVA Midsole

The full-length Compression Moulded EVA is placed in the midsole, providing impressive cushioning, added stability and increased impact protection. The midsole of the Stinson ATR 6 also uses the Active Foot Frame technology to increase responsiveness and feedback by allowing the foot to sit deep into the midsole. This has made the shoe highly adaptable to a wide range of running styles and foot shapes. The shoes have a broad midsole and accommodating fit for a comfortable ride. Hoka's Meta-Rocker midsole geometry is specifically designed with a low heel-toe differential and a sculptured outsole to create a unique fulcrum effect, like a rocking chair, to encourage a guided gait cycle. This design supports the runner's natural form while promoting an efficient, smooth roll from initial impact to toe-off. Styles with a Late-Stage Meta-Rocker have the transition zone placed in front of the metatarsal heads, which provides a more stable base of forefoot support.

Zonal Rubber Outsole

When trail running it is imperative to have an assured footing, with difficult, unpredictable terrain often causing obstacles and challenges to your performance. The Stinson 6 ATR boasts a sticky Zonal rubber outsole, which delivers an abundance of grip and traction to help fill you with confidence as you take on the trails. The highly durable outsole is able to maintain its high level of performance no matter what is put in its path. The long-lasting rubber looks after itself when exposed to uneven surfaces, abrasions, and scrapes. Strategically placed, the rubber outsole assists with certain movements, like takeoffs, landings, and sudden changes of direction. Completing the outsole are multi-directional lugs that give you the give required to conquer all trails.
