GORE-TEX Upper
Designed to provide lightweight comfort, the Mammut Sertig II Low GORE-TEX have been constructed using an air mesh upper. The lightweight and highly breathable upper construction allows cool air to flow throughout the upper, while allowing hot, humid air to escape. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX INVISIBLE FIT membrane resides inside the shoe; it integrates with the mesh upper to supply a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling; however, GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside, keeping sweat to a minimum and you cool and comfy. By perfectly matching the GORE-TEX membrane to the footwear upper material, wrinkles and folds are eliminated, reducing pressure points and creating a true-to-size forefoot area. Reduced weight, less water pick-up and faster drying times are among the other benefits of this running shoe technology. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that locks down the midfoot for distraction-free strides.
EVA Midsole
Mammut have used an EVA midsole to provide you with excellent cushioning throughout. They have strategically mapped out a variety of dense EVA in the midsole of the shoe, giving you the correct amount of support in key areas. The layer which resides under the toe offers the sensitivity needed to keep the forefoot well protected. A Memo Foam insole is another unique technology specific to Mammut, ensuring an individual fit as well as cushioning for the feet at the instep, shin and ankle, giving you a plush feel.
Swiss Designed Rubber Outersole
The Sertig II Low GORE-TEX feature a highly durable rubber outsole. The outsole provides traction and grip on uneven terrain for complete confidence as you explore. While adding traction, the Swiss-designed rubber also provides increased durability. Completing the outsole are multi-directional lugs that provide added traction and grip on uneven wet terrain.
