AirMesh Upper

Airmesh uppers will encase each foot in breathable comfort. Airmesh is used to increase airflow into the upper, its perforations create a better and more healthy environment for your feet to thrive in. The mesh allows air to fully permeate the entire upper providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air while simultaneously forcing out hot, muggy air. In addition, the upper offers synthetic overlays that help with structural integrity, making sure that the upper stabilises the foot by providing a wrapped around fit and feel. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

Mizuno Wave

The midsole has been designed using Mizuno's new wave technology which is built for elite runners. Delivering high response, stability and cushioning wave technology provides the right amount of cushioning and stability your body needs. The Mizuno Wave provides flexibility in one direction and support in the other while absorbing the shock without compromising on the comfort or cushioning. The initial shock is then transferred back to guide athletes to the next movement. The Mizuno Wave prevents partial deformation and provides dynamic support to stabilise and guide the foot forward. For additional comfort, the unique compound, U4ic is used in the midsole which rides and cushions like Mizuno's AP+ midsole but is approximately 30% lighter without any loss of comfort or performance.

G3 Outsole

A G3 outsole has been used on the Mizuno Wave Duel to provide lightweight grip and traction. This advanced performance outsole enhances traction where its needed the most and works to reduce overall weight so you stay light on your feet. Additionally, X10 a durable carbon rubber that allows for longer wear in high impact areas and supplements traction at heel strike. This helps to lessen the impact placed on the knees and joints, allowing for a more comfortable ride as well as optimising gait efficiency. The outsole also ensures maximum grip and traction for a firm, assured footing so you can run with confidence and push yourself to the limit, time and time again.
