Triaxial and Mesh Upper
The double mesh upper provides excellent support and stability keeping you focused on the game in hand. The triaxial mesh offers support during fast, lateral movements and is teamed with a layer of Airmesh for a snug and comfortable fit from the inside out. The Airmesh ensures a steady flow of cool air to remove uncomfortable heat build-up to create a healthy, regulated temperature that feet can thrive in. The lightweight upper keeps you fast and agile on your feet with compromising fit and support. Stability is further enhanced by the external heel counter, working to keep the rearfoot securely in place to reduce in shoe slippage for a distraction-free fit. DuraShield is placed at the front of the shoe to keep your toes protected against toe drag and abrasions.
Wave Plate Midsole
The Mizuno specific wave plate is incorporated in the Wave Stealth V's midsole to provide specific mid-foot and lateral support, and dynamic cushioning. An anatomically moulded, removable insock is also used in the midsole to offer extra cushioning and comfort to the wearer. An advanced, lightweight cushioning material known as Sr Touch is added into the midsole which absorbs shock and keeps the transition smooth and fast due to its quick rebound properties. In addition to this, another midsole compound called ap+ brings lightweight rebound and cushion durability to the shoe, whilst U4ic, a compound provides high comfort and performance. For ventilation for the shoe, heat and humidity is removed through a series of channels within the midsole. The Mizuno Intercool system will work to keep your feet and the shoe itself cool. VS1 has been added to the midsole for extra shock-absorbing properties to keep joints spared when striking down on hard unforgiving surfaces.
