Montane Prism Bootie
The Montane Prism Bootie is a lightweight and packable 'end of the day' hut footwear. The 100% windproof Pertex Microlight rip-stop outer is exceptionally tough and durable, and has excellent water repellency levels to protect your feet even in the damp boot room.
The Hypalon panel on the sole of the sock ensures that the Prism Bootie stands up to some pretty rough treatment around the hut. The boot is insulated with 160g of Primaloft Gold that keeps your feet warm and dry and is also easily packable, and Grip Control in the inner sole prevents this insulation from slipping to provide better stability and last.
PrimaLoft Gold is an ultra-fine microfibre insulation that is exceptionally warm, soft and lightweight when wet or dry. The ultra-fine fibres form tiny air pockets that mimic the compressibility of goose down, trap body heat and are breathable, allowing moisture vapor to be transported through and away from the skin. With a soft and comfortable microfleece lining and adjustable ankle these are a must for any hut to hut touring adventure, or even for cold evenings at the campsite.
