Scarpa Ribelle Run LT Waterproof Men's Trail Running Shoes

The Ribelle Run LT WP utilises many of the technologies and retains the awesome stability and protection inherent in the Ribelle Run 2, but adds an extra 2mm of drop, from 4 to 6mm, and is reinforced with a 3d bio-based print on the upper. This version has a breathable waterproof membrane to provide comfort and protection on wet trails and during bad weather.

Ripstop Mesh Upper

Enhancing the durability of the upper, the Ribelle Run LT has been designed using a ripstop mesh, a material that stands up to forces placed against it. Additionally, the mesh encourages cool air to circulate whilst at the same time removing unwanted, warm air to help regulate temperature and create a perfect microclimate for your feet. This process continues throughout the run, ensuring that you will always feel comfortable within. Utilising a waterproof membrane, feet are protected when the weather takes a turn for the worse on your outdoor adventure. This highly waterproof membrane prevents water from entering, keeping feet dry without compromising on fit, flexibility and weight. The upper is built using Scarpa's Sock-Fit LW construction, which features a lightweight and super-breathable mesh bootie with heat-sealed reinforcements. This provides a precise fit that wraps around the foot, for outstanding comfort and flex at the collar, tongue and forefoot. The 3D bio-based print covers the toes for added protection from any bumps or knocks that you might receive. The traditional lacing system secures the midfoot, while a soft, padded tongue sits comfortably on the ankle, removing any risk of irritation.

EVA Midsole

An EVA midsole resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm, absorbing shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole. The energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, giving you an added spring in your step. The midsole ensures you're ready for the unpredictable trails and tough terrain.

PRESA TRN-09 Outsole

Exceptional grip and traction are guaranteed on a wide range of terrains thanks to the PRESA TRN-09 outsole. The rubber can form a solid connection to the ground, creating strong traction. This will keep you under control when taking on technical paths and trails. The rubber is abrasion-resistant, retaining its shape and definition despite being tested on hard and rough surfaces. This will ensure that the long-term functionality of the outsole is maintained well. Multi-directional lugs and grooves will provide extra grip, especially in wet conditions, by anchoring the feet in place to provide a strong base to push off.
