GORE-TEX Upper

The walking boots upper has a protective GORE-TEX membrane. This thin material seals out water from entering by binding with other textiles in the upper, blocking small moisture particles from passing through the surface. Despite blocking water from entering, air is able to exit from the inside, ventilating the feet. The material also wicks away moisture when exposed, which keeps the boot lightweight. The toe box is extremely spacious, allowing more room for comfort. Around the outside of the upper, and in particular covering vulnerable areas like the toes and the heel, the boot has an increased rubber content to previous editions, which improves protection. An updated lacing system has an extremely broad range of fit, which makes finding a secure yet comfortable fit easy to achieve. In addition to this, the laces can lock into eyelets which increases their security. A padded ankle and tongue mean that they lie on the skin comfortably, with a reduced risk of irritation from chafing.

EVA Midsole

The EVA found in the midsole is multi-beneficial. It provides users with supreme protection, cushioning and lightweight durability. The bottom layer of the midsole absorbs shocks efficiently and effectively. This can be from heavy impacts when walking downhill, or from small sharp objects pressing against the sole. Towards the top, the EVA has more cushioning properties, making every step feel comfortable. The midsole has structured ribs which provide a more supportive and progressive flex, which will help spring you in every step whilst not causing you or the boot damage.

Vibram Outsole
