The straps of the Original Universal Premier Sandal are made from leather. This material was specifically chosen for its durability and water resisting properties. This will help to prevent water soaking into the straps and sitting against the skin where it could potentially cause irritation and great discomfort. The ankle strap has a hook and loop closure which gives a comfortable fit to the wearer with the use of the universal strapping system. Creating the midsole is a contoured EVA layer. This offers much needed cushioning under the full length of the foot which will help to reduce aches and pains being caused by uneven and loose terrain underfoot. With the outsole being made out of durable rubber, it gives a solid balance of performance and durability.
