COROS Virtual Pacer Feature
What is the COROS Virtual Pacer Feature?
COROS smartwatches can support you as a virtual pacer in two different ways, in both Run mode or Track Run mode. This feature allows you to set a distance and pace goal, be alerted when you fall outside your goal time, or simply set a pace goal, without an end distance in mind, to run against a virtual runner at your chosen pace.

How to use the COROS Virtual Pacer with a Goal Distance
Here is a guide to get started;
ㅤ
● Open Run mode or Track Run mode
Before pressing Start, scroll down and select Pacer. You will have the option to select a distance, or skip this step entirely and choose just a target pace.
ㅤ
● Set a Distance
You can either set a custom distance or scroll down and select from standard distances such as 5km, 10k, half marathon, or full marathon.
ㅤ
● Choose a Goal Time
If you selected a standard distance such as a half marathon, your watch will default to your current predicted race pace for that distance. By modifying the goal time, your watch will automatically calculate the pace you need to run at to achieve that time.
ㅤ
● Ready, Set...GO!
When you are ready, press Start. Additional Virtual Pacer pages will be added to your regular data pages, showing you the distance remaining, your current pace, your estimated finish time, and how far you are ahead (leading) or behind your goal time.
ㅤ
● Pace Alerts
If your target distance is longer than 10km, you will receive an alert every 5 kilometers (or 5 miles), letting you know your average pace for the last 5km/5mi and how far ahead or behind you are from your target pace.

ㅤ
● Select the Skip option
Simply choose a goal pace that you wish to run at for an indefinite period of time. There's no need to choose a target distance or finish time.
ㅤ
● Virtual runner display
When you press Start, you will have a virtual runner displayed on the watch screen to show you how far ahead or behind you are from that target pace.
ㅤ
● Distance Alert Settings
Based on your distance alert settings in the activity alerts menu, your watch will alert you every kilometer (or mile) with your average pace for the last lap and the duration of how far ahead or behind you are from the virtual runner.
