Engineered Mesh Upper

Constructed using an engineered mesh, the upper of the adidas Adizero Boston 10 Tin Man Elite Running Shoe provides an abundance of flexibility, breathability and support. Designed using research based on Aramis insights, the mesh has been specifically engineered to provide more support in places its needed the most and less support in areas where free movement is important. Not only do the perforations determine levels of support, they also work to increase ventilation so you can remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. The mesh allows cool air to circulate inside the shoe whilst, at the same time allowing hot muggy air to escape; creating a perfect microclimate for your feet to thrive in. Microfit technology has also been used on the upper to ensure increased structure and support. It works to lock down your feet and midfoot for a secure, comfortable and fast run. A textile lining has also been used on the upper to increase comfort, the lining sits comfortably against the skin and reduces the risks of chafing and irritation from ruining your run. Completing the upper is a lace closure system which secures the midfoot so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

Boost Midsole

A lightweight Boost engineered midsole is embedded into the Adizero Boston 10. The boost foam compound provides endless energy return from heel strike through to the toe-off phase of the gait cycle. It features hundreds of visible energy capsules that store and unleash endless energy every time your foot hits the ground, meaning that every step is charged. When your heel hits the floor, the boost particles compress and store kinetic energy; as you transition through to mid-stance, the boost particles relax and release their stored energy, which propels you forward with an explosive take off. The boost midsole will change your runs forever, thanks to its energy-returning properties. In addition, when the boost capsules compress to store energy, they cushion the foot from impacts. The boost particles only compress so far, which means that they also provide light support whilst on the road. In addition, a midfoot torsion system moves with the foot for a smooth, supportive transition from landing to push-off. The system exists to increase stability and allow the forefoot and rearfoot to move independently for added protection, control and an easy heel-to-toe transition.

Continental Rubber Outsole

The outsole is designed to be just as durable as the Boost midsole, leaving you with a resilient, cushioned and grippy running shoe. Stretchweb completes the Adizero Boston 10 by ensuring a flexible and energised ride. The web pattern has a large surface area that flexes naturally for increased ground feel and traction on varied terrain. The stretchweb outsole lowers the amount of pressure that is generated during the footstrike and in turn, lessens the impact on your feet to minimise injury and provide increased performance.
