Mesh uppers will encase each foot in breathable comfort. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow to create a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. The seamless construction produces an irritation-free fit, reducing the risk of rubbing and blisters; because we know how those can ruin your day. An Ortholite X-40 sockliner exists underfoot, featuring higher rebound properties whilst providing excellent moisture-management and a high level of breathability. Plush and lightweight, it prevents the development of that distracting clammy feeling to keep you damp-free and comfortable on long-distance days.
Solyte resides in the midsole to supply resilient underfoot cushioning. Light in weight and low in profile, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Sitting beneath the Solyte platform, and complementing its feathery nature, is the Rearfoot GEL Cushioning System. The GEL attenuates shock during the impact phase and promotes a smooth transition to midstance, lowering the potential for injuries caused by stress. The Guidance Line, a vertical flex groove, decouples the tooling along the line of progression for enhanced gait efficiency plus a reduced risk of fatigue and injury, letting you enjoy smooth, distraction-free strides.
A solid rubber outsole completes the Gel-Kenun 2, resisting the traumas of heel-strike and toe-off to provide you with a reliable and long-lasting running buddy. The outsole also helps to deliver optimal grip and traction to promote a full, unrestricted range of movement in all directions.
