Engineered Woven GORE-TEX Upper

Providing enhanced breathability and comfort, the upper of the GT-2000 15 promotes in-shoe freshness for the entirety of your run. Perforations encourage cool air to flow through the engineered, woven material, enabling effective circulation around the foot, facilitating heat escape and creating space for a refreshing coolness. The material also protects the foot from snags and stabilises feet, reducing distractions when racking up the miles. Providing ventilated waterproof protection, GORE-TEX Invisible Fit has been utilised. It is bonded seamlessly with the upper which helps promote quicker dry-out times. A traditional lacing system effectively locks the midfoot into place for secure wear. Finally, reflective details have been added to improve visibility in low-light conditions.

FF BLAST MAX Midsole

Featuring an FF BLAST MAX midsole, the GT-2000 15 is highly responsive underfoot and provides soft comfort. With a softer formulation than the last version, ASICS has increased the foam by 2 mm, so every landing feels cloud-like, while your toe-offs deliver powerful propulsion. An EVA sockliner further boosts underfoot cushioning for extra comfort. Rearfoot PureGEL technology mutes shock from hard surfaces below, cushioning your step by maintaining the reputation of acclaimed GEL products. The absorbed shock is returned in your next stride as a rebound, giving you a much-needed motivational boost in every step. Finally, ASICS have incorporated their 3D Guidance System into the GT-2000 15. This system supports the foot throughout the stride, offering balance and structure while ensuring a non-restrictive feel.

AHARPLUS and LO Outsole

ASICS have implemented their trampoline-inspired outsole rubber in the GT-2000 15, which is both an outsole and midsole design that captures more energy return for a foam bouncing effect during toe-offs. An AHARPLUS heel plug adds abrasion-resistant rubber to the heel to enhance durability for heel strikers. It is three times more durable than standardised outsole rubber, keeping you covering ground for miles to come. The outsole also features ASICS AHAR LO rubber, which focuses on key areas of the outsole to provide reliable grip and traction without sacrificing durability.
