Breathable Upper
Mesh uppers will encase each foot in breathable comfort. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow to create a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. Synthetic overlays secure the midfoot, reducing in-shoe slippage so that the wearer can enjoy smooth, distraction-free strides. An internal heel counter stabilises the rearfoot, anchoring you to the midsole to minimise movement. Completing the upper is a PGuard™ Toe Protector increases the longevity of the shoe by protecting a high-abrasion area, whilst also keeping your toes safe from potential damage.
Solyte Midsole
A Solyte midsole resides underfoot for lightweight cushioning, keeping you feathery on your feet and nimble on the courts. Sitting beneath the Solyte platform, and complimenting its supple nature, are the rearfoot and forefoot GEL Cushioning Systems. They work to reduce shock during the impact phase; sparing your joints as you volley and lob, and leap and land onto unforgiving surfaces, allowing for smooth transitions and movement in multiple planes. Two layers of memory foam line the collar and mold to the wearers feel providing a more personal heel fit for additional comfort and a snug fit.
Hardwearing Outsole
An Impact Guidance System employs linked componentry to enhance the foot's natural gait from heel strike to toe-off; the I.G.S helps to absorb shock and guide the foot to a neutral position throughout propulsion, reducing the risk of injury to keep you confident in every game. A Trusstic System has been implemented to reduce the weight of the sole unit and link the forefoot and rearfoot, preparing the wearer for propulsion and letting them move forward with confidence. A solid rubber outsole completes the Gel-Hockey Typhoon, employing multi-directional lugs to maximise grip on pitch surfaces
