This highly cushioned all-terrain trail running shoe from Inov8 features GRAPHENE-GRIP for reliable traction on mud, soft trail and hard ground and a Boomerang footbed that provides superior underfoot cushioning.

Air Mesh Upper

Utilising an Air Mesh upper, the Trailtalon Max provides constant airflow in and out of the shoes, allowing warm air to escape while cool air enters, creating the perfect microclimate for your feet. This keeps feet feeling cool and comfortable over long miles. The Air Mesh is also quick-draining, allowing water to exit the shoe as quickly as it entered, so feet dry quicker, allowing you to focus on the trail ahead. The anatomical fit ensures your toes can splay and feel the ground, while still giving you that secure feel needed when running fast. The shoes use a MET-CRADLE that tightens to form a protective cradle from your heel to midfoot, keeping you feeling secure and locked-in. Adding structure to the shoe, Inov8 has included overlays on the toes, midfoot and heel to add structure whilst protecting you from uneven terrain and rocks. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system which locks the midfoot for a secure fit.

A new shape, featuring in all-new Inov8 footwear, has been designed to hug the natural contours of your foot, locking in at the heel and widening at the toes. This new design brings more comfort, greater confidence and unhindered performance. Incorporated within this new shape are two fits: Standard Fit for a closer feel and nimbleness over tricky terrain, and Wide for a relaxed feel and extra comfort over longer distances.

FLYSPEED PRO Midsole

The shoe's midsole has been created with Inov8's supercritical (nitrogen-infused) FLYSPEED Pro foam midsole. This hardwearing foam provides a great cushioning, ground-feel and stability over uneven terrain. Ideal for when you need sustained comfort and support when ticking off big miles. This nitrogen-infused foam is light and springy, increasing energy return and responsiveness, propelling you into your next step, so you can run further, faster. Not only will this help increase speed, but it will also absorb shocks and negative impact forces as you strike hard, unforgiving surfaces. This reduces stress on the joints and the risk of injury. Completing the midsole is a BOOMERANG footbed, featuring hundreds of expanded TPU beads that compress and spring back for 40% energy return, which allows you to push further for longer.

Graphene Grip Outsole

Featuring a unique outsole inspired by the hoof pattern of the mountain goat, the Trailtalon Max utilises a Graphene-Grip rubber outsole that ensures ultimate control and traction whilst out on the trails. The outsole forms a strong grip on various terrains, guaranteeing complete underfoot traction. Naturally tough, the outsole will maintain its shape and definition over long periods. The sole includes ADAPTER-FLEX technology, a groove cut into the midsole that frees the shoe of stiffness and enhances natural flexibility for a more natural feel when running. 6mm multidirectional lugs have been meticulously shaped and positioned to improve propulsion at the front and braking at the rear. Measured spacing between the lugs prevents debris from sticking to the outsole, cuts through loose trails and remains super-durable, but also gives great grip in wet conditions.
