Inov8 Stormshell V3 Waterproof Men's Trail Running Jacket
A new generation of lightweight waterproof running jacket for racing and intense training.
The Stormshell V3 is made with Pertex Shield 2.5 layer wind and waterproof fabric. This premium material is waterproof to 20,000mm, which means it should keep you dry in the heaviest downpours and snow. The 20,000mm HH rating means that if a column of water was placed on the jacket's fabric, it would need to be 20 metres tall before the water would penetrate it. It also features fully taped seams, which means it meets any Compulsory Race Kit Requirements, where you need to carry a waterproof jacket. The jacket is also highly breathable with a 20,000 B-1 breathability rating, allowing sweat to exit the shell to help you manage your body temperature during intense exercise. When needed, you can pull up the adjustable hood to protect your face and ears from driving wind and rain. The hood has a wire-reinforced peak, designed to keep the water out of your eyes and has enough space for you to wear a head torch underneath too. The jacket is super lightweight, and packs down small into its own pocket when not in use - perfect for stashing in a race vest or waist pack. The jacket's pocket is also useful for storing valuables in as you run. The jacket has been updated with a new fit thanks to NATURALFIT technology. This has been developed using athletes and industry-leading fit technology to deliver improved freedom of movement and accommodate a broader range of athletic body types. Finally, reflective elements ensure visibility in low light.
