Performance Mesh Upper

Created with performance mesh, the upper of the Targhee Apex ensures your feet stay cool and shielded. Perforations within the upper allow for air to circulate effectively around the foot, helping heat to escape and in turn allowing cool freshness to enter, reducing fatigue and boosting motivation to push onwards. Overlays have been added around the mesh, providing protection from possible snags and bumps while covering unpredictable terrain, extending the lifespan of the boot for reliability mile after mile. Additionally, a KEEN.DRY membrane has been added for waterproofing to block moisture from entering and causing discomfort. Designed with Keen's Original Fit, the boots deliver a comfortable feel and allow your toes to spread out, while the KEEN.PROTECT toe bumper protects your toes from rocks and uneven surfaces. A traditional lacing system locks the midfoot to prevent excessive movement for a secure fit, and completing the upper is an Eco-Anti odour finish to prevent the build-up of odour-causing microbes and keep the boots feeling and smelling fresher for longer.

Constructed using Keen.ReGENX midsole technology, the Targhee Apex provides all-day cushioning and comfort. The midsole compound provides significant cushioning and comfort to help improve your performance so you can stay at your optimum level for longer. Holding excellent cushioning abilities, the midsole absorbs shocks as you move throughout the gait cycle, providing resilient comfort and reducing potential injury. A removable foam insole also features within the midsole to provide increased comfort and support as soon as you step into the boots. The insole sits comfortably under the foot and can be easily removed if you'd prefer not to use it. Completing the midsole is an internal stability shank, delivering lightweight support and reducing the chance of ankle rolling or injury by providing more stability to the foot on uneven terrain.

Designed using a Keen.All Terrain outsole, the Targhee Apex provide an outstanding level of grip, traction, and stability across a wide range of trail surfaces. It's a durable outsole that stands the test of time, providing long-lasting reliability, whilst also protecting you from slipping. Adorning the outsole are multi-directional lugs for outstanding traction on tough conditions, digging deep into the ground, and keeping you stable on long-distance journeys.
