Mammut Ultimate Pro Low GORE-TEX Men's Walking Shoes

The Ultimate Pro Low GORE-TEX is an extremely comfortable, multifunctional shoe for a wide range of applications. The seamless Schoeller softshell material offers a high level of comfort and makes this shoe the ideal companion for light hikes, when traveling or for everyday wear.

Hybrid Shell Upper

Surrounding the upper of the Ultimate Pro is an extremely elastic GORE-TEX membrane. This will provide you with complete protection from moisture, blocking its entry into the shoes. By doing this, the feet will be kept in a dry and comfortable climate over the course of a day out on the trails. The membrane will still allow air to enter and exit freely to keep you feeling ventilated to a comfortable level. The constant airflow is maintained, which will mean that you will always be kept at an optimum temperature. The upper also benefits from using a Schoeller softshell, a technology that has been developed by Mammut. This will provide you with a blend of supple inner and tough outer materials. On the inside, the material is soft and smooth, guaranteeing comfort against the skin. On the outside, the material is tough and durable, able to stand up against forces placed against it to maintain its shape and definition, no matter what is thrown at it. A durable toe cap protects the toes from rocks and uneven surfaces. As well as this, the heel area is also kept protected by firm material, holding it in a strong and upright position. A traditional lacing system locks the midfoot to prevent excessive movement for a secure and stable fit, and lastly, the soft, padded tongue and heel collar sit close to the foot and ankle to reduce the chance of rubbing for increased comfort.

EVA Midsole

Designed using an EVA midsole, these walking shoes aim to provide you with ample cushioning and comfort to get you through the day. Three TPU support elements in the centre of the midsole area provide support over the longitudinal arch of the foot while increasing sure-footedness, comfort and reducing fatigue. The shoe also uses Mammut's Rolling Concept. This patented sole concept supports and cushions whilst also encouraging the foot's natural rolling movement and consequently reduces fatigue and the danger of twisting your ankle. The EVA will provide you with effective cushioning that is guaranteed to deliver lasting comfort. Upon every step, the material will compress, leaving you and your joints feeling protected. This will prevent injuries and fatigue from occurring. As well as this, the midsole will absorb shocks. This prevents sharp forces from reaching the soles of the feet, which would cause discomfort and pain.

Gripex Tri Traction Outsole

For a complete grip and traction guaranteed, the shoes have been crafted using a Gripex outsole. This is made from an extremely grippy rubber compound that will form a solid connection with a wide range of different surfaces. The rubber is also extremely strong and abrasion-resistant, standing up to abuse to maintain its shape and definition. This, over a long period of time, will mean that you have high-functioning shoes. Multi-directional lugs and grooves dig deep into the ground for biting traction. This will mean that you will always be anchored in position for a secure and controlled base.
