Abrasion-Resistant Mesh Upper
To keep feet well protected and comfortable on long hiking adventures, the lightweight Aenergy Mtn Mid GORE-TEX features an abrasion-resistant jacquard mesh upper. Strategic perforations provide feet with constant airflow and a cool sensation, preventing overheating, while their durable construction provides excellent protection from rocks and trail debris. Working with this is a GORE-TEX membrane for breathable, waterproof protection that reduces the risks of feet becoming wet and uncomfortable. The GORE-TEX stops wet weather, including heavy rain or snow, from penetrating the fabric, ensuring the boots and feet remain dry and fresh. Moisture-wicking properties prevent feet from becoming uncomfortable by removing moisture and sweat from the skin's surface. A protective rubber toe cap adds durability and shields feet and toes from knocks and bumps on tricky trail adventures. The boots have an elasticated, pre-shaped tongue construction to keep feet secure and comfortable, preventing excessive movement. Finally, the traditional lacing system works to keep feet locked in and secure when traversing a wide variety of conditions.
EVA Midsole

To ensure energetic strides and soft response underfoot, the midsole cushions your every stride, keeping things bouncy and soft. Shock-absorbing properties help to reduce the risks of injury or discomfort by absorbing impact from striking down on tough, rocky surfaces. The midsole adds stability and cushioning for a comfortable heel strike. Working alongside this, the boots feature an Ortholite insole for extra in-shoe cushioning and can be removed for interchangeable comfort.
Vibram Megagrip Outsole

The outsole allows you to stride confidently thanks to its durable nature and tacky construction, providing optimum grip in both wet and dry conditions to keep you secure with the ground below. Adorning the outsole are strategically placed 5mm lugs that enhance grip and traction further, keeping you comfortable on long journeys.
