Designed with Pertex Shield 3L fabric, the Norste waterproof pants from Montane are a reliable option for super wet and windy hikes. Pertex Shield fabric offers lightweight waterproof and windproof protection from varying elements. Utilising a 40D full dull ripstop woven face textile along with an ultra-thin waterproof and windproof polyurethane membrane, the pants effectively block heavy downpours. A 20D Tricot backer has been added to greatly improve durability against possible snags and bumps while on the move, while a water repellent coating has been added to the outer layer to greatly improve the waterproofing. The amount of seam tape used has been reduced to improve Full Garment Breathability (FGB) and durability while also reducing weight and construction. Seams have been offset to improve the overall construction of the pants and increase durability against possible snags and tears while also enhancing comfort during wear. Side zips feature on either leg to provide easy access and adaptable ventilation for rapid cooling and are secured with YKK AQUAGUARD NATULON recycled zips that effectively block water from creeping in. The zips work alongside the storm guard plackets to block harsh winds and water from penetrating the zips or causing discomfort. A centre-front fly allows for easy on and off while adjustment points at the hem enable you to customise the fit.
