Engineered Mesh Upper
Showcasing a soft and adaptive upper, the Vomero 18s supplies comfort and breathability from the first step. The mesh allows for air to circulate throughout the shoe, releasing hot air through perforations in the material as the toe flexes. The double-layer mesh ensures runners experience exclusive plush comfort combined with good circulation for a fresh feeling. A soft lining helps make the Vomero 18 a comfortable and snug fit. Built on an MR-10 last, it delivers a great, consistent fit. Alongside the padded tongue and heel to minimise irritation, a heel pull tab makes it easier to slip on the shoes quickly. To complete the upper, the traditional lacing system locks down the midfoot to create a secure fit, assuring you in your footing in every mile.
Dual-Density ZoomX and ReactX Midsole
Sporting ZoomX foam stacked on top of ReactX foam, the Vomero 18 has become the tallest of the line by 6mm with the idea to deliver a comfort-centric running experience. ZoomX foam covers the entire midsole surface to offer a mega-cushioned feel, due to the premium PEBA foam within. The ReactX foam is the firmer of the two, giving you more stability underfoot. This foam also enhances the base's overall durability. ReactX is also 13% more reactive than previous React technology, offering a plush and responsive feel underfoot. When initial impact is made with hard, unforgiving surfaces, the Dual midsole absorbs shock. This offers greater energy return, propelling you into the next stride quickly and confidently. Increased rocker geometry has also been added for smoother transitions and improved momentum.
Durable Rubber Outsole
Constructed with highly durable materials, the outsole on the Vomero 18's produces excellent levels of grip whilst also providing longevity of the overall state of the shoe. The redesigned traction pattern delivers maximum traction, helping you form a solid bond with the ground. Pods have also been strategically placed around the outsole to enhance agility, offering smoother transitions through heel-to-toe.
