Nike have also utilised a brand-new last, specifically for the trails, with a widened toe box and forefoot to promote better stability over uneven terrain. Boosting foot protection and shoe durability, a rubber wrap has been added to the toes, reducing direct impact and preventing injury. A heel pull tab has been added to the back of the collar for easy assistance when slipping the ACG Pegasus on and off. Finally, a traditional lacing system has been added, offering secure midfoot lockdown for reduced in-shoe slippage when heading uphill and descending.
