Breathable Mesh Upper
Providing enhanced breathability and comfort, the upper of the Cloudboom Volt promotes in-shoe freshness with minimal weight for the entirety of your run. Perforations within the upper allow for air to circulate effectively around the foot, allowing for heat to escape out and make room for cooling freshness. With a flat laying tongue and collar, irritation is minimised as the fit is kept snug against your foot for minimal distraction. This is complimented by the traditional lacing system, which effectively locks your midfoot into place for an immovable fit, letting you concentrate on thrashing PBs instead of your feet.
Helion HF Hyper Foam Midsole
Sporting a dual-layering of Helion, the midsole of the Cloudboom Volt holds superior energy return and provides quality cushioning for every stride. As you run, impact is converted into propulsive energy, giving your step a boost and increasing your motivation. Working alongside this is On's CloudTec Phase technology, the compound has shock-absorbing properties, dissipating direct impact and protecting your joints and feet from injury. CloudTec's unique construction works by collapsing the cushioning when stepping down, expanding the foam in a forward rolling motion and propelling heel strikers forward. Featuring a carbon-fiber Speedboard nestled between two layers of foam, this design maximizes forward propulsion. While the enhanced rocker geometry creates a fluid, effortless motion through every step.
