Petzl Swift RL Headlamp

A hyper-powerful and rechargeable multi-beam headlamp with an ultra-thin headband and REACTIVE LIGHTING technology.

Casting 1200 lumens and weighing 92 g, the SWIFT RL is the headlamp for all your most committing after-dark adventures! Using REACTIVE LIGHTING technology, a sensor analyses the ambient light and automatically adjusts the brightness and beam pattern to your needs. REACTIVE LIGHTING has a longer burn time (minimum 7 hours at medium brightness), provides greater visual comfort, and needs less manual operation than standard lighting (which is also offered by this headlamp should you wish to stick to what you know). The 1200 lumen setting allows you to see 168 meters away and the 6-second BOOST mode activates with a quick double tap on the side of the lamp to give you a boost of light to help you navigate the terrain on your route (BOOST mode can be manually deactivated). The mixed beam provides comfortable, high-performance lighting for outdoor activities - proximity or distance vision. There is also a red light setting with continuous or strobe settings depending on your needs. All of your lighting needs, on/off and locking are controlled via a single button. The lock function prevents the lamp from turning on during transit or storage.

Ultra-thin and easy to adjust, the headlamp is almost unnoticeable when worn and provides an optimal fit for dynamic and committing activities, like mountaineering or skiing. The split construction headband (Petzl patent) is easy to adjust and provides optimal support, and the Comfort foam can be removed to decrease weight and increase air flow depending on your needs. The reflective cord integrated into the headband ensures visibility in low light, and the whole thing can be removed and washed. Finally, the headband is made from recycled materials for an eco touch.

The battery performs well at low temperatures, maintaining 90% of burn time in temperatures as cold as -5° C. The R2250 battery is rechargeable via USB-C (charging cable not included) and has a battery charge indicator with a five level gauge for precise monitoring. The SHELL LT ultra-light storage pouch can be used to turn the headlamp into a lantern, and the headband, pouch, and battery are available as spare parts to help extend the headlamps lifespan. With an IPX rating of 4, this headlamp can stand up to most weather conditions.
