The upper of the Velocity Nitro Trail has been designed using an abrasion-resistant mesh to ensure a durable and protective shoe while being extremely comfortable. The mesh is durable in high-wear areas, ensuring your feet are secure and always protected on the trail. Perforations within the fabric provide feet with excellent breathability, allowing cooler air to circulate while built-up heat can escape, ensuring cooler feet on the trail. The padded heel collar and tongue sit close to the ankle and foot to increase comfort and prevent debris from entering, while heel pull tabs assist in putting the shoes on and off. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that locks the midfoot for a secure fit and prevents in-shoe slippage.
