Designed for year-round mountain use, the Alpine Pro 600 is versatile, offering protection and warmth in cold conditions. The bag has a mummy taper shape, meaning it is both roomy and comfortable, with an angled footbox that keeps your feet warm, while still allowing movement. Rab uses a tapered shape and adjusts the box-wall height for better down loft and to ensure maximum warmth. The Alpine Pro 600 is made from 20D Pertex Quantum Pro, a durable fabric using an ultra-thin, water-resistant coating to increase protection during rough conditions. By combining a tightly woven face fabric with a DWR coating, Pertex Quantum delivers excellent weather protection while remaining lightweight, soft and breathable. The sleeping bag is hand-filled with 650FP European duck down finished with a Nikwax Fluorocarbon-Free Hydrophobic coating, held in trapezoidal chambers designed to eliminate cold spots. The upper torso has a chevron-shaped baffle design which helps reduce down movement and maximise core warmth by encouraging the down to sit centrally. The product has an insulating internal 3D collar with a hood drawcord to keep cold drafts out, while the 3/4 length YKK zip has an anti-snag bonded zip guard for easier access. A handy internal stash pocket resides in the sleeping bag, allowing you to store any essentials, and a stuff sack ensures you can easily transport the bag, whilst a cotton sack allows you to store it away easily.
