Scarpa Crux 2 Men's Approach Shoes

Suede Upper
The Crux 2 has been crafted using a suede leather upper to provide a snug fit and a supremely durable shoe. The suede leather is extremely durable, protecting your feet from knocks, bumps and trail debris, while the rubber toe rand adds further protection. Featuring a full-length mesh tongue, the shoes encourage cool air to flow while releasing built-up heat, keeping feet comfortable as you take on the trail. The water-repellent suede upper protects against light rain or snow showers, while the Heel Tension System offers improved lateral support when walking. A traditional lacing system completes the upper, locking in the midfoot and reducing in-shoe movement for distraction-free strides.
EVA Midsole
The shoes use an EVA midsole that offers support, while the anti-shock properties allow for improved cushioning. Highly cushioned, the shoes will offer long-lasting relief for knees and ankles, keeping you comfortable as you take on the trails. By absorbing shocks instantly, the EVA midsole will prevent sharp forces from reaching the soles of the feet and causing discomfort. The shoes use Activ Impact Technology, which absorbs shocks, preventing damage to the sole. The energy produced will also be returned as a rebound, adding spring to your step. Megagrip from Vibr-am is their stickiest compound yet, designed for use on a variety of terrains. The extremely durable rubber forms a solid bond with the ground beneath, anchoring you in place. Despite abuse on rough ground, the rubber remains robust, retaining a strong shape and structure. To the front of the sole, the shoes include a climbing zone that enhances confidence on technical rock and scrambles.
