Scarpa Zodiac GORE-TEX Walking Shoes

A trekking shoe made for prolonged use. It's equipped with a patented Bascula Adaptive System technology, providing you stability and protection, allowing the sole to adapt to the ground better. In addition, the heel control facilitates progression on steep and sloping terrain. A split leather upper also features to provide optimised comfort, alongside GORE-TEX to keep feet dry and comfortable.

Perwanger Leather Upper

Made from Perwanger Leather, the Zodiac GORE-TEX Walking Shoes uppers are highly breathable and extremely durable to provide you with optimised comfort when wearing. These materials are also water-repellent to protect the shoes from light rain and moisture. These materials are combined with 37.5 technology, the shoes help to keep your feet at an ideal temperature of 37.5 degrees, therefore maintaining your skin's microclimate and humidity. This innovative, patented technology is made up of active particles which will help to contain energy and warmth within the shoes, providing you with the perfect level of comfort and keeping you focused on future adventures. Alongside this, the shoes feature a GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane lining, which not only provides excellent waterproofing properties but also enhances breathability, ensuring a dry and comfortable wearing experience for your feet. For exceptional in-shoe comfort, the shoes utilise an ACTIVfit system, to provide a specific fit for feet to remain comfortable, as well as, a SockFit-XT which wraps around the foot like a sock, enhancing the breathability, waterproofing and durability of the shoes. The shoes also utilise a protective rubber edge on the toes to protect them from knocks and bumps on the trail. To provide a secure fit, preventing feet from slipping inside the shoes, the walking shoes have an Extended Lacing system, which extends and fastens down to the toe, providing maximised customisation and an extremely comfortable fit.

PU Midsole

Providing feet with excellent in-shoe comfort and an enjoyable wearing experience, the Zodiac GORE-TEX Shoes utilise medium-high density PU foam. The foam cushions your strides when traversing challenging trail routes and changing terrains, therefore keeping your feet exceptionally comfortable and ready to tackle whatever the hike throws at you. The midsole is soft and cushioned, yet with excellent levels of stability and support keeps you stable on the ground below. A TPU film features to provide the shoes with an abrasive-resistant layer, and working alongside a PU insert keeps you comfortable, providing adaptability to the ground below. This combination of materials provides you with shock absorption for preventing discomfort or injury when striking down on hard, unforgiving surfaces, for a comfortable wearing experience.

Designed to optimise performance when mountaineering and adventuring outdoors, the Vibram MONT Outsole offers maximum reliability on even the most difficult terrains, during low temperatures. This outsole has outstanding durability, which provides you with grip and traction on changing and difficult trail conditions. Utilising Scarpa's BAS system, the outsole has proprietary technology which ensures stability and grip on the ground below.
