The North Face Summit VECTIV Pro 3 Trail Running Shoes

Designed in collaboration with the The North Face global athlete team, the Summit VECTIV Pro 3 are engineered to deliver uncompromising top-level performance during ultra-races on single-track trails. So much so, they've graced the podium at some of the most competitive trail races in the world. The VECTIV 3.0 stacked-plate system has a long carbon-fibre plate for better push-off and a TPU top plate for added stability on changing trail surfaces. Super-high-rebound DREAM foam helps propel you towards the finish line, while the seamless, breathable upper is supportive, hydrophobic and quick-drying. And the super-grippy, trail-optimised SURFACE CTRL rubber outsole and rockered midsole geometry offer reliable grip on all surfaces.

Seamless, Breathable Upper

Featuring a seamless, breathable upper construction, the Summit VECTIV Pro 3 offers a supportive fit that keeps you feeling secure and stable within the shoe on uneven terrain. In addition, this lightweight upper is hydrophobic and quick-drying, keeping your feet feeling cool, dry and comfortable throughout your run. An internal skeletal support frame and integrated tongue wings provide a precise foothold for extra support, enhancing the locked-in, secure fit with a lightweight feel that won't hold you back. Completing the upper, a traditional lacing system allows you to lock down the midfoot, reducing in-shoe slippage on the trail.

DREAM Foam Midsole

Utilising a full-length ultra-light DREAM foam underfoot, the midsole features The North Face's high-performance PEBA/EVA compound, providing you with a super-high rebound and enhanced longevity. The ultra-light DREAM foam midsole is nitrogen-infused and offers outstanding rebound for bouncy, comforting strides. This compound softens the demands of trail running, providing a soft foot strike during miles on all terrains and helping to reduce the risks of injury. With 4mm more midsole than the previous iteration, the VECTIV Pro 3 increases comfort and cushioning beneath the foot. Additionally, the VECTIV 3.0 stacked plate system includes a full-length carbon-fibre plate for better push-off and a TPU top plate for added stability, making it effective on different types of trails. The rocker-shaped geometry is engineered to ensure long-lasting forward propulsion and a more natural stride. Lastly, a DREAM foam insert underfoot further increases long-distance propulsion and comfort.

SURFACE CTRL Rubber Outsole

Finished with a durable SURFACE CTRL rubber outsole, the VECTIV Pro 3 is optimised for weight and versatility. This bio-based durable rubber has been made with 20% rubber from smallholder farmers committed to agroforestry principles and regenerative agricultural practices. Delivering grip, traction and durability on both wet and dry surfaces, the SURFACE CTRL rubber compound keeps you grounded on uneven terrain in various conditions. Perfect for technical terrain, the rubber offers exceptional traction and protection so you can continue with confidence. 3.5mm lugs have been designed for racing on varied trail terrain, anchoring you into the ground and providing exemplary grip across rocky and wet terrain.
