Developed in close partnership with The North Face athlete team, the Offtrail Ultra delivers high-level performance, whether you're scaling peaks or navigating rugged trails. They feature the innovative dual-density DREAMBOUND midsole, which is firm on the outside for stability but soft on the inside for comfort. They're incredibly lightweight, but with an integrated SCREEGUARD gaiter, Surface CTRL outsole and THINWEB technology, they deliver unmatched comfort and underfoot grip.

Leno Weave Upper

Built for fast running over technical terrain, the Offtrail Ultra features a sleek, ultra-breathable leno-weave upper. This tough yet lightweight construction shields your feet from trail hazards with its strong, sheer mesh design. Strategically placed perforations keep air flowing to maintain a cool, fresh feel, while quick-drying materials help minimise sweat and moisture build-up. The upper wraps securely around the foot for a comfortable, stable fit, allowing you to move freely without distraction. DREAMBOUND Midsole

A full-length ultralight DREAMBOUND midsole provides high-energy return, reduced weight and increased longevity when compared with standard EVA foams. It is soft, bouncy and responsive, helping you run further and faster using less energy. This foam instantly absorbs shock as your foot strikes the hard, ever-changing ground of the trails, protecting your joints and feet from injury. The energy is then used as a rebound to propel you into your next step, slowing fatigue and allowing you to run further, faster.

SurfaceCTRL Outsole

For optimal grip and traction on various trail-running surfaces, the Offtrail TR uses The North Face's SurfaceCTRL rubber outsole. This bio-based outsole provides full coverage and superior traction, has an optimised weight for comfort and is highly versatile. Adorning the outsole are deep lugs, offering multi-directional traction and support across the constantly changing terrain of the trails. This outsole offers outstanding grip on both wet and dry surfaces, making it the perfect addition to your trail running gear. Completing the outsole is THINWEB technology, which is a weight-saving design to make the shoe significantly lighter while enhancing stability and grip.
