Offering complete protection without compromising on hand feel, the Trekmates Friktion GORE-TEX Gloves are the perfect winter essential. Constructed using a GORE-TEX fabrication, the gloves are durably waterproof, windproof and highly breathable. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, the GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the gloves; supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; keeping sweat to a minimum and you, cool and comfy. The windproof nature of the fabric also helps to keep you warm when temperatures drop by blocking out cold winds. As well as this, a durable, water-resistant outer features abrasion-resistant amara paneling which increases overall durability. The gloves reduce the risks of tearing and abrasion increasing the longevity of the gloves and giving you peace of mind on tough trails. Working with the GORE-TEX fabrication is GORE-TEX + Gore grip technology which provide increased dexterity. The special layered construction attaches the normally loose layers of the glove to each other, preventing movement between them; this creates optimum tactility and better dexterity for a sure grip, while remaining durably waterproof, windproof and highly breathable. Within the gloves, a brushed polyester lining increases next to skin comfort whilst also providing added warmth for complete comfort. Pre-curved fingers offer a performance fit whilst an adjustable hook and loop cuff provides a secure, low-bulk fit. The non-slip silicone print on the palm and fingers offers a secure grip plus, the gloves are touch screen compatible. Lastly, a stretch microfibre panel at the back of the thumb allows you to wipe your glasses when they become steamed up.
