Mono Mesh Upper
Providing a close and comfortable fit that is highly breathable, the Agravic Speed Ultra 2 features a mono mesh upper. The meticulously redesigned, durable, foot-hugging upper construction supports your every stride, providing a personal feel like the shoe was made for you. The upper encourages cool air to circulate while simultaneously releasing built-up heat, reducing the temperature inside the shoe, so you remain comfortable even when the run heats up. The shoes feature TPU overlays, increasing protection and durability. The overlays protect your toes from knocks and scrapes while protecting the shoes from damage, increasing the shoes' lifespan. Not only this, but they also add structure to the shoe and increase overall stability. A textile lining further increases the comfort level, delivering softness against your skin. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system to keep your foot locked in and secure, preventing in-shoe slippage from occurring.
Lightstrike Pro Midsole
The midsole has been constructed using an updated, softer Lightstrike Pro foam that delivers more of a responsive feel and higher energy return than the previous iteration for a faster ride. Designed with responsiveness in mind and cushioning without unnecessary bulk, the midsole combines energy return and stability into one of the lightest TPU foams on the market. This propels you forward, providing explosive movement, enduring speed and endless energy return from heel strike through to the toe-off phase of the gait cycle. When your heel hits the floor, the midsole compresses and stores kinetic energy. As you transition through mid-stance, the midsole relaxes and releases the stored energy, propelling you forward with an explosive take-off. This means you can run further using less energy, helping you to get the most out of your adventures in the wilderness. The foam spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces, dampening impacts and reducing the risk of injury whilst you run. The shoes feature Energy Rods that further aid propulsion, helping you pick up the pace and strive for your best results. Alongside this, the shoes feature an exaggerated rocker-shaped geometry to promote a smooth roll-off and a more efficient running gait for a quick pace.
Continental Rubber Outsole
Inspired by tyre technology, the Continental Rubber Outsole completes the adidas Terrex Agravic Speed Ultra 2 by providing extraordinary grip and better traction over rugged or wet terrain. No excuses now. The outsole has received an update with the 2s now using a combination of 3mm and 4mm deep multi-directional lugs for increased grip. Digging further into the ground, providing increased grip and stability, giving you the confidence to take on the trails.
