Lightlock Woven Upper

This material has strategically placed perforations to provide exceptional airflow throughout your runs, allowing for warm air to escape and make room for fresh air. Moisture-wicking properties prevent the build-up of sweat from forming around your feet, keeping them dry and feeling fresh during the intense periods of your race. A textile lining has been added internally to provide extra soft comfort surrounding the foot, minimising irritation when on the go for prolonged periods of time. The woven material is also highly durable, with little chance of tears or snags within the mesh, to keep you confident and focused on the track ahead. The upper also features overlays, intended to protect your feet from possible injury if bumped. To secure the foot, the Adizero Avanti sports a traditional lacing system that effectively locks down the midfoot and reduces in-shoe slippage.
Lightstrike and Lightstrike Pro Midsole
Constructed using adidas' famous Lightstrike compound, the Avanti Spikes have an ultra-lightweight and responsive feel underfoot to make your ride as comfortable as possible. The double layer foam is highly effective in enhancing performance with the Lightstrike foam provides a slightly more stable but lightweight foam and the Lightsrike Pro adds a unbelievably plush cushioning underfoot. Both foams work alongside one another to provide high energy returns, reducing foot fatigue as miles climb. The foam soaks up hard impact underfoot to stop feet striking uncompromising surfaces, building pressure within the midsole is then released as you follow into your next stride, propelling you forwards.
