adidas Adizero Adios Pro 5 Women's Running Shoes

Embrace the road with the Adizero Adios Pro 5. Designed for those who strive for greatness, this super speedy, lightweight shoe reflects a commitment to performance and style. Engineered for speed, it features the LightstrikePro midsole for lightweight cushioning and outstanding energy return, providing you with momentum during every mile.

Lightlock 2.0 Upper

The Pro 5 uses a super light, weightless one-way stretch textile that moves with your foot; the Lightlock 2.0 comfortably contains your feet for staying focused on future marathon races. Engineered to get the most out of every stride, the breathable upper supplies feet with a constant level of cool, fresh air, helping to reduce the risks of overheating and keeping you comfortable from the first to the last mile. Adapting seamlessly to your movements, the Lightlock 2.0 has a smooth, sock-like fit, reducing irritation or chafing on tough miles, and with moisture-wicking comfort stops excessive sweat and moisture build-up. A flexible tongue and soft collar keep feet well-contained within the shoes, reducing slipping or movement during long miles. Completing the upper are traditional laces, which lock down the midfoot to keep you comfortable on every mile.

LightstrikePro Midsole

An update to its predecessors, the 5th iteration of this iconic marathon runner features a firm LightstrikePro compound for a faster running experience. 15g lighter in weight and 9% higher in energy, the midsole cushions your every stride, whilst also returning energy for energetic, responsive strides. For optimal speed, the LightstrikePro absorbs impact on long-distance runs to energise your next stride and reduce the risk of injury when striking down onto tougher surfaces, protecting you during tough periods. New to the Adios Pro, the midsole features carbon fibre-infused Energyrims for added stiffness to encourage smooth, efficient transitions and powerful strides. The snappy, responsiveness of the Energyrims keeps you confident and ensures uninterrupted energy return.

Lighttraxion Outsole

Optimising your grip underfoot and ensuring stability across long miles on the road, the Lighttraxion outsole is super lightweight with a durable compound for long-lasting reliability. Working in tandem, the outsole features an adidas staple, a Continental rubber in the toe-off. This supports confident traction and smooth transitions stride after stride.
