Boosting the comfort of the original, the Transport 2 is back with its famous city-to-trail versatility. Hoka have upped the stack height for more cushion, upgraded the sockliner for a softer, bouncier feel and dialled up the plushness around the collar for improved levels of comfort.
Cordura Upper
Swathe your feet in comfort and breathability with this upper. The upper has been crafted from lightweight and breathable Cordura to keep feet feeling ventilated and fresh, Cordura has the added benefit of being ultra durable, ensuring long last use and enjoyment and standing up to the trials of the trail. The water-repellent treatment helps light rain bead off and the new cushier collar feels soft against the skin. The quick-toggle stretch laces help you cinch in the fit with ease, and should you wish to change them out for something more familiar, traditional laces have been included. 360 degree reflectivity ensures you stay safe in low light.
EVA Midsole
A higher stack than ever, full-length platform of compression-moulded EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm and will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. The energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The EVA is made with 30% sugarcane for an eco touch. Atop this is an upgraded sockliner that delivers a springy, plush feel.
Vibram EcoStep Natural Outsole
The Transport utilises a Vibram EcoStep Natural Outsole construction, which is an innovative and green solution for your outsole materials. This sustainable outsole utilises more than 30% recycled materials, whilst still providing the outstanding properties of your typical Vibram outsole. The outsole will keep you in firm control across a wide range of different terrains over a long period of time. Forming a solid bond with the ground, the outsole will anchor you into place, keeping you in a strong and controlled position. Completing the outsole are flex grooves, which encourage multi-directional movements.
