Suede with Woven Mesh Upper
The upper of the Explorer GORE-TEX Walking Boot is both durable and lightweight for easy hiking as weathers and terrains change. With woven mesh, boosting air circulation around the foot and reducing fatigue, while the suede has been added to improve the overall durability and lifespan of the boots. The GORE-TEX materials provide optimum protection on the trails by protecting your feet from rain and moisture in poor, changing weather, including snowy conditions. Sitting on the material is rubber and TPU toe and heel caps, shielding your feet from possible injury along unpredictable paths. The laces stretch from the top of the boot to the toes, allowing you to tailor the fit precisely for maximised comfort, with X-Lacing Light technology to hold the tongue in place both vertically and horizontally. Pressure from the laces is transferred and distributed along the tongue and into the hooks for eased discomfort and reduced chance of blisters. Finally a pull tab has been added to the heel, easily assisting with slipping into the boots.
Litecell PU Midsole
Utilising a Litecell PU midsole, the Explorer GORE-TEX Walking Boots have superior cushioning while staying at a lower weight. When covering hard and unforgiving surfaces, shock is absorbed into the foam, dissipating direct impact and protecting your joints and feet from injury. Absorbed shock is released within your following stride as propulsive energy, giving you a needed motivational boost in every step. The midsole also adds stability to your stride, adding lateral support when moving over uneven terrain.
Vibram Trac Control Outsole
Offering highly sticky grip and traction, the Explorer GORE-TEX features a single, full length rubber outsole of Vibram Trac Control. This adds durability to the sole of the boot for longevity in wear and shields you from sharp sticks and stones for a distraction-less hike. This rubber compound offers grip properties on both dry and wet terrains and is up to any challenge on every kind of terrain. It gives you confidence and control, while maintaining an optimal balance between stability and flexibility for ground adaptation. With wide set multi-directional lugs on the outsole, grip is boosted when inclining and declining.
