Lightweight Mesh Upper

Surrounding the upper of the shoes, the mesh is lightweight and extremely breathable. The engineered mesh on the upper has small gaps which allow air to transfer in and out. This will mean that warm air that builds up within the shoe can transfer out of it easily, being replaced by cooler air to keep you ventilated. As you begin to sweat within the shoe, moisture is able to escape through the upper. Once it escapes, the material can wick it away efficiently, keeping you feeling dry and fresh. Extremely firm and strong, the shoes will protect the feet from any bumps or knocks. The forefoot has especially thick material covering it, which will absorb any bumps or knocks effectively. The heel is held in a secured position, preventing it from moving out of position and causing an injury. In addition, the insole has a Hyperlock moulded heel counter. This will over time mould to your individual heel shape, which will maximise comfort. Up the foot laces with eyelets, and a padded tongue will ensure that you will always have a comfortable and secure fit. The bellows tongue will keep debris out, preventing dirt from rubbing and causing irritation on the ankle.

Q FORM Midsole

Using Merrell's Q FORM 2 midsole, this multi-beneficial midsole will provide protective stability and support. Using dual-density EVA foam, this will prevent shocks from reaching the sole of the foot, which would cause discomfort. As well as this, the EVA is extremely cushioned, which will mean all day comfort is guaranteed. The heel has a pronounced cup which keeps it centred. This means that shocks are absorbed a lot more easily, whilst the foot is also stabilised. The Kinetic Fit Tri insole works with the natural movement of the foot to provide stability to all three major arches during athletic ability. The midsole is able to propel you along as you step with its flexible nature, and energy created is also returned as rebound for a smoother stride.

Vibram Outsole

Using a Vibram Megagrip, the outsole will make sure that you will have extreme grip and traction. Developed for extremely slippery terrain, the extremely durable rubber can form a solid bond with the ground to anchor you in place. Despite facing abuse from rough ground, the rubber stands up against this, deflecting the blows and retaining a strong shape and structure. Deep lugs will also anchor you into position, especially on the muddy ground, providing a solid base to push on from, assistance when braking and changes of direction.
