Mizuno Wave Rider Beta Running Shoes
Last born in the SPS collection, the Wave Rider Beta is a tribute to both tradition and innovation. Taking its roots from the long and rich history of the Rider range, the shoe reflects the DNA of Mizuno in a premium execution with qualitative finishes.
Breathable Mesh Upper
The upper of the Wave Rider Beta is designed to keep the temperature maintained at a comfortable level. Made from a breathable mesh upper, this allows air to flow in and out of the shoe and keeps the feet feeling cool even during intense activity, as the air is constantly entering and exiting. The material also allows vapour from sweat to escape, which will keep your feet feeling dry and fresh. Suede reinforcements also reside on the upper and surround the forefoot and the heel which will protect vulnerable parts of the foot from damage through bumps and heavy forces. A secure and comfortable fit is guaranteed with a padded tongue which will sit gently on the top of the foot and lastly, a traditional lacing system helps lock the midfoot to prevent excessive movement.
Mizuno Wave Midsole
The Mizuno Wave midsole provides exceptional cushioning and comfort. The midsole technology works to absorb the shock of heel striking without compromising the comfort or cushioning. Once the shock has been absorbed the energy from that is harnessed and is then transferred to the forefoot to then push you off and guide you onto the next movement.
Durable Rubber Outsole
The Mizuno Wave Rider Beta features a durable rubber outsole. The extremely substantial carbon rubber allows for longer wear in high-impact areas and provides more traction at the heel strike so you can run hard, knowing that your shoes can handle the heat. Flex Grooves adorn the outsole to promote natural movement from the heel to the forefoot, initiating that rocking chair motion for fluid, uninhibited strides. The Wave Rider 10 is a true all-rounder; suitable for pace runs, long distances, as well as daily training, delivering a supreme level of cushioning to the neutral runner.
