The Cetus waterproof jacket is a high-performance hardshell that offers exceptional breathability. Built utilising the new PETRICHOR technology, the Cetus has a recycled nylon 30D ripstop outer that gives excellent weather protection.

Montane have used PETRICHOR technology to construct the Cetus Jacket. PETRICHOR's three-layer technology delivers exceptional waterproof protection with a hydrostatic head of 20,000mm and exceptionally breathable performance, ensuring you remain protected no matter the weather conditions. It scores a RET 5 rating, which means it is ideally suited for high-output activities, where it will remain breathable, keeping you dry inside and out. This is achieved through a windproof membrane that transports water vapour and moisture away from the body. The membrane is sandwiched between the waterproof 30D ripstop face fabric and the back material for enhanced durability and next-to-skin comfort. Laminated technology features at the peak, hem and cuff tabs to reduce seams and further improve durability. The YKK Aquaguard full-front zip assists with easy on/off while regulating airflow for optimal ventilation. A fully adjustable hood ensures a perfect fit whilst offering further protection from the elements, and the offset seam intersections reduce irritation for improved comfort and construction. The hem is fully adjustable to minimise heat loss and block wind chill. Finally, the YKK Aquaguard external zippered pockets and internal pocket offer adequate storage space for your essentials or for your hands when the temperature drops.
