Thermo-Embossed Suede Upper

Surrounding the upper of the shoe, the material is made of thermo-embossed suede, which will provide you with a tailored upper. The material will mould to your foot shape without stretching. Air can pass in and out of the material, and the constant cycle will provide the feet with ventilation, keeping you feeling fresh over a long period of time. A lightweight lateral PU rand will shield the shoe, protecting it from any scuffs and scrapes on rocky climbs. In addition, there is a rubber toe cap, which will protect the forefoot and improve grip. A heel counter will hold the rearfoot in a strong and upright position. Long laces that run from the toe to the ankle are easy to secure, allowing you to find a perfect fit every time. A soft, padded tongue and ankle collar will improve comfort and reduce the risk of irritation from rubbing and chafing. The collar uses Autofit technology that ensures maximum adaptability and comfort of the upper, reducing the impact stress on the Achilles and malleolus area. Dual-Density Midsole

With a dual-density midsole, the Mescalito will provide you with supreme comfort and protection. This is because the midsole has different characteristics. At the bottom of the midsole, the EVA is extremely densely packed. This will mean that all shocks and heavy impacts are attenuated instantly and effectively, preventing the forces from reaching the sole. Additionally, the EVA can transfer this energy into rebound, giving you an added spring in your step. Towards the top of the midsole, the EVA changes, as it is softer and less dense. This will mean that every step you will feel soft and cushioned, making the last step of the day feel as comfortable as the first. Underneath the heel, the shoe uses the Heel Tension System. This offers great stability and adaptability to the severe stress derived from steep routes. The particular design and the TPU material help the upper avoid torsional twists, making walking easier even on difficult and rough terrain.

Vibram Dynamis Outsole

Grip and traction on the most challenging of terrain, whilst keeping the shoe extremely lightweight. This is down largely to the Vibram Dynamis Outsole. The rubber forms a solid connection with a wide range of different surfaces, keeping you feeling stabilised and upright. The rubber itself is abrasion-resistant and will maintain its shape and definition despite use on rocky ground. An aggressive lug design will anchor your feet to the ground, especially in wet conditions, providing a solid and firm base to push off from.
