Lightweight Mesh Upper
Designed to provide a lightweight, supportive and breathable fit the upper of the adidas SL20 Running Shoes have been constructed using a mesh upper. The lightweight mesh allows cool air to circulate throughout the upper to ensure you remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. Perforations within the fabric increase airflow, promoting a better healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. The upper also wraps the foot in lightweight, flexible comfort so you can go further for longer in complete comfort. The textile lining sits comfortably against the skin to reduce the risks of chafing and irritation; it also works with the mesh to ensure breathable comfort as your training session heats up. Completing the upper is a lacing system that locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
Lightstrike Cushioning
The midsole of the SL20.2 has been constructed using lightstrike cushioning that delivers the optimal balance of lightweight and responsive cushioning. Designed to provide responsive cushioning without the weight, the midsole combines energy return and stability into one of the lightest TPU foam on the market. Lightstrike spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces whilst also propelling you forward to provide you with explosive movement and enduring speed. The light and springy ride support your feet through the gait cycle whilst remaining as lightweight as possible to ensure you can reach new PB's.
Continental Rubber Outsole
Developed using a continental rubber outsole, the adidas SL20.2 Running Shoes ensure extraordinary traction in wet and dry conditions. Inspired by tyre technology, Continental rubber supplies traction on wet and dry surfaces, giving you no excuse not to run. Ensuring multi-directional grip the outsole ensures traction on varied terrain ensuring confident footing whether you're training or out for 10k. The durable rubber provides a strong grip on the most challenging terrain; it works to protect itself from damage, and protect users from losing control and slipping. The outsole is designed to be just as durable as the midsole, leaving you with a resilient, cushioned and grippy running shoe.
