ASICS GT-800 Running Shoes

Inspired by our GT-2000 series, the GT-800 shoe is a technical shoe that's versatile for an array of running workouts.

Engineered Mesh

Engineered mesh uppers will encase each foot in breathable comfort. Lightweight and highly breathable for all-temperature comfort, the mesh acts as a lightweight second skin, providing a supportive and comfortable fit. Its perforated construction allows air to fully permeate the entire upper, letting your feet breathe when the temperature starts to rise or your training session heats up. Suede overlays also exist on the upper to provide added support and durability whilst the no-sew design ensure added comfort and reduces the risks of irritation. A re-engineered midfoot panel increaseS lateral support so you'll always feel secure as you move through the gait cycle. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

FlyteFoam

ASICS play their ace card in lightweight cushioning: FlyteFoam. A layer of protection, bounce and comfort, it sits under the heel and midfoot to provide you with unmatched shock absorption and a lively ride. FlyteFoam is the next generation of ASICS' lightweight and responsive cushioning technology. The midsole formula features a reinforced, sustainable nanofibre compound which increases the foam's durability and provides more stability for runners, buffering against the ground to protect the wearer from unnecessary stress and fatigue. The reinforced fibres let the material bounce back to its original shape after every run; so you can train harder, more frequently, for longer, without the worry that your shoes might not be able to take it.

Durable Rubber Outsole

Developed using a durable rubber outsole, the ASICS GT-800 Running Shoes ensures improved grip in varied conditions. The rubber outsole is able to form a solid bond with the ground beneath it to ensure traction and grip on road surfaces. Having the durability and traction enables you to run with complete confidence that your shoes will keep you grounded at all times. As well as this, the rubber outsole is highly durable to ensure long-lasting wear. The durable nature of the rubber will not wear down easily so you can go further for longer with complete confidence. Completing the outsole are flex grooves which assist with grip and form a solid base to push from. The grooves allow the whole of the outsole to naturally flex where the foot flexes to increase comfort as well as performance.
