GORE-TEX Upper

The Merrell Skyrocket GORE-TEX Women's Trail Running Shoe is constructed using a mesh and TPU upper and with a breathable mesh lining; the mesh allows air to fully permeate the upper providing a supply of cool, fresh air whilst simultaneously forcing out hot, muggy air that resides in the shoe during heavy exertion. The bonded InvisibleFit constructed upper offers lightweight, breathable protection that fits and feels like an unprotected shoe, for full protection whilst out on the trail without compromising quick footing. Engineered with a GORE-TEX waterproof membrane, the Skyrocket GORE-TEX offers complete waterproof performance and exceptional breathability; step confidently and comfortably through wet and muddy terrain as the GORE-TEX membrane allows water vapor to escape without letting water droplets in. The hyperlock TPU Film Heel Counter combined with the traditional lace closure system provides a secure fit locking the foot into the shoe and anchoring to the midsole to reduce in-shoe slippage for quick descents and sharp turns. The upper of the Skyrocket is designed to be ultra-lightweight without sacrificing any protective benefits.

Compression Moulded EVA Midsole

The compression-moulded EVA midsole provides unprecedented stability, agility, and comfort, supporting the natural motion of the foot and providing comfort through the gait cycle and ultimately reducing those harmful shock and impact forces. The moulded nylon arch shank provides a supportive structure that resides between the insole and the outsole; diminishing the load incurred on your feet and calves over the course of your adventure the moulded nylon arch shank helps to reduce fatigue, whilst the EVA removable footbed provides you with the opportunity to add in your own insoles.

M-Select Grip Outsole

Developed using M-Select grip, the outsole of the Skyrocket ensures durable traction and grip when and where you need it the most. Designed to work on both wet and dry ground the outsole for mixed terrain use. The tear-resistant durable outsole will hold your grip in any weather so you'll never have to worry about underperforming because the outsole ensures confident footing at all times. The outsole also features 3.5mm lugs which work to increase grip for lateral movements. The angled lugs cut through tough terrain with ease to give confidence on wet uneven ground. The lugs are also self-cleaning meaning they release dirt and debris on the move ensuring grip and traction, are never compromised.
