Synthetic Mesh Upper

The upper is designed to fit like a second skin whilst also providing constant ventilation; its perforations increase airflow to create a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. The mesh details throughout the upper allow cool air to flow into the construction whilst, at the same time allowing hot humid air to escape so you can remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. A heel counter exists to keep your foot in a secure place as you run by locking in the heel. Completing the upper is a lacing system that locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

Air Zoom Midsole

A foam midsole has been added to the Winflo 8 to provide lightweight comfort that'll help propel you through any run. The lightweight yet responsive midsole delivers exceptional cushioning underfoot thanks to a soft foam material to severely reduce the impact placed on your knees and joints as you run. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces; it is also exceptionally lightweight so you can remain comfortable on gruelling days. Zoom Air Technology combines pressurised air with internal fibres to deliver responsive cushioning that springs back fast, so you can move faster. Its advantage is that, as well as providing excellent impact protection, it boasts a super lightweight and low-profile design that lets your feet sit closer to the ground, enhancing proprioception so that you can run more efficiently. The units have been used in the forefoot and heel to provide cushioning where you need it the most.

Full Rubber Outsole

Developed using a rubber outsole, the Nike Air Zoom Winflo Running Shoes enhance traction and grip. The durable rubber provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage, and protect users from losing control and slipping. The rubber is placed on high wear areas such as the forefoot and heel to increase durability. The rubber covers the heel, forefoot and midfoot to enhance durability, resisting the traumas of heel-strike and toe-off to provide you with a reliable and long-lasting running buddy. Completing the outsole are forefoot pistons which allow for a greater forefoot response and added traction.
