Constructed using a textile upper, the Terrex Heron High Walking Boots provide a durable, locked down fit. Synthetic overlays provide added protection whilst a lace closure system helps to provide a locked-down fit. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a climaproof membrane resides inside the boot; supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but climaproof keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; keeping sweat to a minimum and you, at a tolerable temperature. PrimaLoft insulation cradles the feet and ankles in thermal comfort; with a high warmth-to-weight ratio, it gives you a cosiness that doesn't compromise the spring in your step. Additionally, climawarm enriched fabric generously lines the inside of the boot; using hollow fibres to trap warm air and provide you with an extra layer of snug, next-to-skin protection from encroaching bitter weather.
An exceptionally lightweight EVA material has been used to create the midsole on this shoe which offers the wearer long-lasting cushioning to keep your feet comfortable on long days and to help you be ready for the unpredictable trail and terrain you may find under your feet.
A Stealth rubber outsole completes the Terrex Tracefinder climaheat walking boot. Sticky and durable, the stealth rubber provides unrivalled adhesion onto slick surfaces; so you can tackle awkward, icy ascents and daring descents with ease. For the hiker who craves comfort in the cold and powerful grip, choose the Tracerfinder. Rubber flex grooves adorn the outsole for a full, unrestricted range of motion in all directions as well as increasing flexibility and performance.
