GORE-TEX Upper
Textile and mesh uppers will encase each foot in durable comfort. Perforates in the fabric increase airflow, promoting a better healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. Abrasion-resistant welding reinforces the shoe's protective, trail-worthy state; increasing rigidity and defending your feet against roots, rocks and general hazards. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the shoe; supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; keeping sweat to a minimum and you, cool and comfy. Despite the outstanding weather resistant properties the shoe possesses, the Skychaser retains a lightweight and flexible feel, allowing to push yourself and your footwear as hard as you want.
Boost Midsole
adidas take cushioning to new heights, with their ultra-responsive midsole: Boost. Tiny TPU capsules are moulded together to form a platform that is different to standard, solid foams; absorbing energy and then expelling it back out for a bounce-like effect. This energy return technology reduces the use of superfluous muscle power, diminishing fatigue and enhancing performance; keeping you going for longer. The plush, responsive cushioning will spare your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving terrain. Boost also manages to maintain its special function and bounce in conditions as low as -20 degrees, making it a reliable, durable and hard-to-beat midsole. An EVA frame skirts the shoe, complimenting the Pro-Moderator to increase support against overpronation. The Skychaser features a moulded sockliner that acts as a moisture barrier between the foot and the insole of the shoe. This offers a premium level of comfort and increased performance.
