adidas Terrex Eastrail GORE-TEX Running Shoes

Designed to handle the wet and rocky mountainside whilst keeping you completely comfortable, the adidas Terrex Eastrail GORE-TEX Running Shoes are perfect for all year round use. A GORE-TEX upper will give you durable waterproofing, whilst the midsole and outsole will provide cushioning and traction.

GORE-TEX Upper

Mesh and synthetic uppers will encase each foot in durable comfort. Perforates in the fabric increase airflow, promoting a better healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. Synthetic overlays reinforce the shoe's protective, hiking-worthy state; increasing rigidity and defending your feet against roots, rocks and general hazards. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the shoe; supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; keeping sweat to a minimum and you, cool and comfy. A traditional lace closure system will make it easy to secure the shoes to a comfortable fit. A soft padded tongue and a high ankle collar will reduce the risk of irritation and improve comfort in vulnerable areas of the feet.

Lightweight EVA Midsole

The construction of the EVA midsole within the Terrex Eastrail GORE-TEX Walking Shoes is extremely lightweight, and despite being lightweight, it won't compromise any cushioning or comfort. The full-length platform of EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The midsole ensures you're ready for the unpredictable trails and tough terrain. A moulded sock liner sits comfortably against the skin and provides additional underfoot comfort.

Durable Rubber Outsole

The high-traction rubber outsole will guarantee that you are guaranteed exceptional grip and control in any conditions. Able to form a solid grip with a wide range of different surfaces, the material will ensure that you are always in full control. Even in wet conditions, the rubber forms a strong connection, anchoring you in place for stability. Multi-directional lugs and grooves will further hold you in place, especially on wet and muddy ground. This will assist with takeoffs, landings and changes of direction. Extremely durable and abrasion-resistant, the rubber will stand up against abuse from hard rockfaces, retaining its shape and definition to provide you with long-term functionality.
