adidas Terrex Speed GORE-TEX Women's Trail Running Shoes

The lightest adidas GORE-TEX trail running shoes ever made, these shoes are fast and competition-ready. They feature seamless, innovative GORE-TEX sock construction for waterproof protection. A lightweight EVA midsole offers cushioning, and a Continental Rubber outsole secures your footing as you fly down the trail.

GORE-TEX Upper

Constructed using an abrasion resistant mesh, the Terrex Agravic Speed Trail Running Shoes ensure ample breathability and top abrasion resistance. The mesh allows air to fully permeate throughout the shoe, providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air whilst simultaneously pushing out hot, muggy air. Supplying flexible support, the mesh works to increase ventilation and eradicate the build-up of sweat which is unavoidable during exercise. Sweat and moisture are wicked away from the feet leaving you feeling fresh and ready to clock up the miles in extreme comfort. Abrasion-resistant weldings protect your shoes and feet from loose debris so you can run without worry. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the shoe; supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; keeping sweat to a minimum and you, cool and comfy. GORE-TEX 3D fit technology contours to the shape of the foot, plus the breathable sock-like construction ensures a snug, comfortable fit whilst a lace closure system locks down the foot to reduce in shoe slippage. Completing the upper are reflective details which enhance your visibility to passing vehicles on late night adventures.

Durable EVA Midsole

A full-length platform of EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The midsole of the Agravic Speed is significantly more durable and slightly more cushioned so you can perform better over long distances. It ensures you're ready for the unpredictable trails and tough terrain.

Continental Rubber Outsole

The Terrex Agravic Speed features a Rubber outsole from Continental. Their decades of experience with tyres has allowed Continental to develop an elite rubber outsole that allows you to reach unprecedented levels of both speed and safety, whether you are on flats, uphill, or downhill. The winter compounds created by Continental are used on their award-winning tyres, so you can rely on this outsole for outstanding traction and control. An adidas Continental sole gives you 30% more grip on dry and wet surfaces; as you run you can feel this incredible technology working and keeping you safe, whether you are on mud, grass, stone, snow or ice. Lastly, outsole cutouts have been used to reduce the overall weight of the shoe and to provide multi-directional grip.
