Designed to be extremely lightweight, the jacket will provide you with an extra layer without adding any bulk or excessive weight, meaning that you won't be restricted in any way. The material is treated to be water-resistant, and when exposed to moisture it will wick it away extremely efficiently and effectively. The material will retain heat to a comfortable level when exercising, but not too much that it will become too warm within the jacket as it is still extremely breathable. This will mean that warm air that builds up within the jacket is able to escape out efficiently and effectively. This is then replaced by cooler air, and this constant process will continue as you train, maintaining the body's temperature to a comfortable one. A full zip fastening makes it easy to adjust the fit, as well as making it quick and easy to seal air in, or allow more to enter and exit for ventilation. The jacket has a hood that is elasticated, which will mean that it will feel personalised, ensuring that moisture doesn't cause you discomfort or distraction. The jacket also has thumbholes and elasticated cuffs, which will provide you that bit extra warmth to the hands and arms by sealing air out. Similarly, the hem has elastic surrounding it, which will further seal heat in. Two side pockets will allow you to carry small items around with you on your run. Flat-lying seams within the jacket will remove the risk of irritation caused by rubbing and chafing. A reflective stripe on the back will improve visibility and safety during night time running.
