Adidas Adizero Avanti Running Spikes

The goal is simple. Run fast. Helping you achieve it, these adidas track shoes deliver breathability and comfort for mid to long-distance runs. Designed with Lightstrike Pro, they run on three layers of our most resilient foam to help you maintain energy long-term. An internal fit system gives you a locked-in feel. Take a deep breath at the starting line, because you're in for an explosive ride.

Breathable Mesh Upper

Featuring lightweight mesh throughout the upper for enhanced breathability, these shoes allow air to circulate freely to your feet to increase ventilation. A second skin on the upper provides additional support when needed on the forefoot, making for a smooth, stable ride. Micro-suede makes up the interior for a soft, smooth feel, allowing your feet to remain comfortable throughout your race. A traditional lace closure locks down the midfoot for a secure fit.

Lightstrike Pro Midsole

The midsole of the Adizero Avanti has been constructed using lightstrike cushioning that delivers the optimal balance of lightweight and responsive cushioning. Designed to provide responsive cushioning without the weight, the midsole combines energy return and stability into one of the lightest TPU foam on the market. Lightstrike spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces whilst also propelling you forward to provide you with explosive movement and enduring speed. The light and springy ride support your feet through the gait cycle whilst remaining as lightweight as possible to ensure you can reach new PB's.

Pebax Plate Outsole

The Pebax Spike Plate features in the forefoot, with 5 spike receptacles, to increase traction in any conditions. This element of the shoe also allows you to dig into the track in order to gain a better grip so that you can reach your top speed across the finishing line.

**You don't want to feel your toe cramped up against the front of the shoe. A spike should feel like it was meant for your foot, a little more snug than a training shoe feels so we would recommend half a size up on normal shoes**
